Sunday (Cont'd): I then ventured into the pool and got quite a chill down since the pool wasn't heated, nevertheless it was quite refreshing. I met the twins from England shortly after, and I immediately adopted them as sisters. We had countless conversations comparing British vs. Canadian languages and culture, where I learned about words like "loo", "knickers", "bird", and "shag" (yes, they sounded just like Austin Powers!). With out our consultation, our new friend Mark from Baltimore made reservations for Garrith, Bryan, us and himself to go out to dinner. Cool! We went to Al Capone's restaurant, which used to be Al Capones winter house before communism. We had our own room facing the ocean, right on the beach, with the windows open so we could get a breeze and hear the surf. We enjoyed filet with lobster as we laughed for three hours! We made it back to the hotel, got the girls, and went to Club Havana AGAIN!?! An employee of the hotel came with us and showed us how to dance. That night I met Scott and Renee from around Toronto. We had a blast! As we were leaving the Club I was waiting at the front of the club for Ray, and I saw a local staggering out of the loo. As he fell back I stepped forward and caught him in mid-air! I hope he didn't fall again after that!
